Role of Muscles and Tendons in Height Increase

During puberty stage lots of factors contribute towards increase in height. The general health of a person is major factor among them. However post puberty it is not easy to increase height of an individual as growth plates at the end of bones arte closed by then. How to grow taller then? Many things can be done to increase height.

During ageing these bones are solidified by the deposition of calcium. This is known as ossification. There is more number of bones in babies as compared to an adult. Diet rich in amino acids, proteins and calcium is essential to meet the needs of growing body. Increase in muscle mass due to exercise makes body slim and grow taller. Also it improves strength of the body. Some stretching exercises helps in growth of tendons which is a major factor in growing taller naturally.
